AI is not replacing artists. It is a new instrument — the same way samplers were to hip-hop, drum machines were to electronic music, and GarageBand was to bedroom pop. The question is not if you use it. The question is what you say with it.
Before streaming. Before algorithms. Before playlists curated by committees. There were cassettes passed hand to hand, burned CDs in plastic sleeves, and blog posts linked on forgotten forums. That energy is still alive. We carry it.
Trap. Dubstep. Boom bap. Cyber-rave. Country rock. Emotional storytelling. Bootstrap Mafia does not live in one box because the people who built it never fit in one box. The genre changes. The spirit does not.
Every late-night session where nothing came out right. Every release that dropped to silence. Every version you abandoned before anyone heard it. That is not failure. That is the process. Build. Create. Survive. Repeat.
